It's finally here and I can hardly contain my excitement!Raleigh Fashion Week & Strut09.
Raleigh Fashion Week explodes this Thursday, May 14th thru Saturday, May 16th as a celebration of fashion, beauty, music and dance with daily seminars, talent showcases, trunk shows, vendor booths, & nightly runway shows, at the new Raleigh Convention Center in downtown Raleigh.
Raleigh Fashion Week, a Brian Williams TV production, will feature and highlight Local & National designers that have “Carolina Roots”, including Alexander Julian, Austin Jade, Rachel Weeks, Marie Cordella & Jamie Powell & more as well as the latest collections from local boutiques.
Thursday's shows will start off with emerging-artists, including North Carolina State University Art to Wear Designers, Friday's shows will continue with a "High School Talent Showcase" featuring the area’s top high school designers and entertainment talent followed by evening shows devoted to Women's & Men's Formal wear, and a "Celebrity Walk" to benefit Susan G. Komen for The Cure.
Saturday's affair will conclude Raleigh Fashion Week with Strut09, the Red-Carpet Style grand finale, which will be televised at a later date.
