Think Pink! Breast Cancer Awareness Month!

October 1st officially kicked off Breast Cancer Awareness Month and there are several local ways to make a huge difference in the fight against the disease with the things we're already doing - like shopping at your favorite local shops and donating to charity!
Here are some great savings & events to enjoy while supporting a great cause:
Scout & Molly's (North Hills) -Today through Sunday, October 4th, EVERYTHING PINK Will Be 20 % Off! (North Hills Raleigh Location Only)
Monkees (North Hills) -Car decals with the “We Wear Pink” design can be acquired and proudly displayed with a minimum donation of $2.
Monkee’s T-shirts with the official “We Wear Pink” design will also be available with a minimum $12 donation. (100% of all decal proceeds, and $8 of every shirt donation will go to Passionately Pink for the Cure, a program of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.)
Charlotte's of North Hills - Charlotte's Gift Boutique will be serving pink lemonade and offering all customers 25% off anything pink.
There's also a great locally-based Breast Cancer Foundation, the Pretty in Pink Foundation that also accepts donations anytime! Pretty In Pink Foundation is a great organization that serves people diagnosed with breast cancer who have limited health insurance benefits, or in many cases, no health insurance at all. Be sure to show your support and contact the Pretty in Pink Foundation today.
White Pear Shop, an all-natural bath and body products store in Wake Forest, has created a special “Pamper Me Pink Keepsake Box” that includes a body scrub, a Shea soufflé, and a shower gell, all made of fine essential oil blends that are gentle on the skin. The products in the box feature the Pretty In Pink Foundation logo, and 25 percent of the revenue from the sale of these gift boxes is donated to Pretty In Pink Foundation.
Swagger Gifts, an upscale boutique in Cary’s Lochmere Pavilion, specializing in personalized gifts, has added Pretty In Pink Foundation to its Community Giving Program. When a customer mentions Pretty In Pink at checkout, Swagger will donate five percent of the sale (excluding tax) to the Pretty In Pink Foundation.
